Executive Appointment

During the meeting held by our Company on February 20, 2017 (today), as it has been seen that Soner Gedik had resigned from all his duties, including his duty as the Chief Executive Officer, which he holds in his capacity as a member of the Board of Directors of our Company, Yağmur ŞATANA has been decided to be appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors, effective as of 20 February 2017, and he has been decided to be assigned as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

Yağmur ŞATANA's election as a Member of the Board of Directors shall be submitted for the approval of our shareholders during the first Ordinary General Assembly Meeting to be held.

Yağmur ŞATANA, who has been appointed as the Member of the Board of Directors, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer for our company was born in 1963, and he is a graduate of TED Ankara College, and Finance/Economy graduate of the Gazi University, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences.

Having begun his career in the banking industry in 1987, Yağmur ŞATANA has worked at various executive levels at Finansbank A.Ş. until 2008, and he has undertaken duties locally and overseas in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Project Financing, and Cash Management as the Assistant General Manager and Deputy General Manager. During the same period, he has carried out the duties as the Chairman of Fiba Factoring, Girişim Factoring, and Finans Yatırım in addition to working as the Vice Chairman for Finans Finansal Kiralama. Since 2008, he has worked as the Chairman/Vice Chairman/Member of the Board in sixteen group companies operating in Finance, Real Estate, Tourism, Ports, Energy, and Retail Industries under Fiba and Fina Holding.

Yağmur ŞATANA, who has worked with the Demirören Group for one year in 2011 as the Holding Chief Executive Officer, has also worked in the Energy, LPG, and Fuel Oil industries, while at the same time functioning as the Member of the Board of Directors at Milliyet and Vatan Newspapers.

Yağmur ŞATANA who joined Kazancı Holding A.Ş. as a Member of the Board of Directors in 2012 has worked as the Chairman/Vice Chairman/Member of the Board in subsidiaries operating in the energy, generator, natural gas distribution, electricity distribution, tourism, agriculture, and food and beverages (Cookshop) industries for 5 years. Additionally, he has also carried on his duties as the Member of the Board of Directors with Detur International Holding B.V., operating in Tourism, and with Anadolu İplik ve Tekstil Fabrikaları, operating in petrochemicals/textiles industry.

Throughout his career, Yağmur ŞATANA has led significant change and transformation projects on balance sheet management, risk management, growth, project financing, and marketing.

He is married, and has one daughter.
